Use the map to answer one question at a time.
The Ginger Empire’s tips demonstration uses M to change the map view and G to toggle the ground grid. Check your current control prompts if your setup differs. The grid helps with a nearby cleaning task; the wider map helps you decide where to go next.
Avoid starting with the entire Moon as the only useful view. First identify your current collection area, its receiving station and the route between them. When one of those is unclear, a short return trip can turn into a long search. The practical purpose of the map is to keep those three places connected in your plan.

How do you teleport to another station?
Patch 1.0.4 adds a right-click context menu for waypoints, focus and teleport actions, and allows teleporting to discovered stations. Open the map, locate a station you have already discovered, and use its available teleport action. The player demonstration shows zooming in and right-clicking the station.
A point on the ground and a discovered station are different targets. If you see waypoint options but no useful teleport destination, check what you selected and whether you have discovered that station. Do not assume a waypoint alone unlocks travel or that every unexplored location is already a destination.
Before travelling, know which local task you are leaving behind. If you were checking a blocked catcher, confirm that its outlet is moving first; teleporting away does not clear a full receiver.

Find a robot without walking after it.
The 1.0.4 map shows robots and their activity, and adds display filters. Use these to locate the machine you need instead of searching every part of the base. When you inspect JOONAS directly, the update also exposes its information and sector.
Read the activity as a starting point for diagnosis. For JOONAS, a full-bin signal sends you toward receiving capacity. JOONAS working in another sector does not need you standing beside it under the 1.0.4 rules. If the map is visually crowded, reduce the displayed categories until the object you need is easy to identify.
Follow the material route as well as the robot marker. JOONAS sends capsules to the nearest catcher, so a newly placed catcher can change which receiving line deserves your attention. Check the actual arrival point before expanding machinery at a different station.

Separate local cleaning from global completion.
A clean-looking region and a large global percentage are not the same milestone. Steam has separate achievements for the first region, later section counts and Moon-wide percentages. Use the measure that matches the job you set yourself. The first clean region is worth noticing even when the overall map still looks untouched.
Players in the Reddit completion discussion describe very small global percentages after developing substantial operations. Those are personal experiences, not a dependable map-size calculation or completion forecast. Different equipment, crew sizes and play styles make a fixed hour estimate misleading.
For the next session, pick a nearby area, decide where its dust will go and compare the same local progress measure when you finish. If you want a long-term record, the achievement checklist separates local milestones from the 1%, 10%, 50% and 100% targets.

Make exploration serve the next route.
The tips video demonstrates finding flags while exploring and using the map to get back to a station. Treat this as an optional activity between cleaning tasks, rather than a guaranteed opening income route. The footage is not a complete map of every collectible or proof that a particular coordinate pays the same in every session.
If you discover another station, check what problem it solves for your current operation: a nearer unloading point, a better place for a garage or a destination you want to revisit. Keep the next build small enough to verify. A second unreliable factory can add travel without adding useful progress.
When the question is where to unload a vehicle, combine the map with the garage controls. The developer allows owned vehicles to be recalled through garages; you do not need to treat the original garage as the only place to manage them.

Questions players ask
Can I teleport anywhere on the Moon?
The 1.0.4 notes specify discovered stations. A waypoint is not the same as a station teleport.
Why is my percentage still so low?
Global Moon completion measures a different scale from one region or a set of upgrades. Check the achievement category you are pursuing rather than treating every progress number as interchangeable.
Can the map show robots?
Yes. The 1.0.4 update adds robot locations and activity to the map, with filters.
