Local tools and saved progress

The achievement checklist stores checked items in your browser’s local storage on this device. Clear saved progress on the checklist to remove it. The factory planner calculates in your browser. Copy result link includes your three measurements in the URL so another person can reopen them. Anyone with that link can read those values; opening it sends the URL to this site’s host as part of the page request. Calculating alone does not submit a form or save your inputs. Neither tool connects to your Steam account or reads game saves.

Site analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which guides help, which sections people read, and whether the calculator and sharing controls work. Analytics is enabled by default and may set first-party analytics cookies. We measure page views, visible reading time, scroll depth and selected actions such as calculating, marking an achievement or copying a result link. We do not send calculator measurements, checklist contents, URL query strings, game saves or form text as analytics event parameters. Advertising storage and advertising personalization are disabled. Google processes analytics information under its privacy policy; browser settings and blocking tools can limit this collection.

Images and video

Game screenshots load from Steam’s image hosting. Video previews load from YouTube’s image hosting. These requests share normal connection information, including your IP address, with those providers.

Pressing Play loads a YouTube player from youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube then processes information under its own policies. You can read every guide without loading the player. See Google’s privacy policy.

Sharing and external links

Copy link writes a guide URL to your clipboard when you request it. Native sharing uses your device’s share sheet. Post on X opens X with the guide URL; it does not post automatically. Shared links contain campaign labels identifying the page and sharing method, not a personal identifier.

External services, including Steam and YouTube, apply their own policies when you visit them. About this independent companion.
